Special rings and necklaces

I made these matching rings and necklaces for some special girlfriends for a very special occasion... and also as Christmas presents.

2012 November birthdays, loose beads :)

I have two close friends whose birthdays are back to back. I had to make them some pretty unique gifts. :)

First, Andrea's beads... Andrea loves the Pandora style beads, she had a few of her own already, and always steals her mom's beads as well... I gave her six new beads. These are pretty amazing because they're the first set I make like this, with awesome murrini!

See how I accidentally put one in sideways? lol... still looks cool. I love this murrini.

Then, I also made beads for my friend Paola. I didn't make these with a big hole because Paola is actually a jewelry designer. I told her these beads are a "kit" gift, for her to make something cool with. (BTW Paola, what did you make???)

I used handpulled twisties and murrini on this set as well... Except I left the murrini raised. I love how that looks as well... :D

Open house 2 (Paola's first glass bead)

Paola and Isabella came over on the first day of the year to check out the studio. Paola got to make a bead! (unfortunately, I was having technical difficulties with the bead release, and her bead didn't make it; neither did most of the beads I made.)

She decided she wanted her bead to hang on one side.

And added a silver dot to it.

It was pretty, Pao. I'm sorry.

Lampworking day #144. Candy ring and beads for Nela.

Candy ring made to match these beads. With colors picked out by Paola.

And these are the beads I made for Nela! :) She picked out the colors herself. To be honest I never would have thought of that combination. And wow, I LOVE it!
