Lampworking day #132. FIRST NECKLACE and long dragonfly earrings. Paola session.

That aboriginal on the floor there is Paola.  She came over and we played for a few hours.  :)  Check out what I made!

And I also made these earrings... :)

Check these out at my Etsy store

Lampworking day #131. The first wired ring.

I made a ring!  My very first ring.  What do you think?  Tell me in the comments.

I'll tell you what I think, too.  I think this ring is very cool.  The color of the bead combined with the silver makes it look like rock and roll.

I made this ring using this tutorial.

However, I think this bead size is a little large for this style ring (especially because it's perfectly round all the way around), making it slightly uncomfortable to wear and make.  I do like the style though, a lot.  I'm thinking I will continue to make these but I'll make special beads for them with flat bottoms, or just smaller beads altogether.

This is the first one I've made.  Making it have small errors in some places and definitely too small for most of my customers to wear.  It is not for sale.  Let me know (in the comments or email me or whatever) if you think this is cool and you think I should get excited and make more.  This ring costs about $13.

Lampworking day #129. Earrings!!!

I made three earring pairs and some pre-earrings.  ...for a change?  I'm happy cause today I sold a pair to a very dear friend of the family.  :)

I can't wait for them to be an actual pair of earrings.  I love how juvenile, and rebelious they look... do you see that too?  Orange, red, and silver... right?  I'm thinking of making these really hangy.  haha

This is the pair I sold today:

The purple beads are Amethyst.

If you saw these in an earlier post you saw the clear center...

Trippy.

.

More orange... :)  I love it.

Both beads are lampworked.  (By me, obviously...)

I don't even know how to explain the bottom beads.  That reaction is crazy.  Ask me if I can duplicate that.

And these are also with beads from a previous post.  The colors just kill me!

I heard there was someone eyeballing these... ;)

Listen, I really don't have the time or energy to list these on Etsy tonight.  If you're interested, please contact me!  :)  The last two earring pairs are priced $29.50 and $29, respectively.

Cheers!  :)
